Brown Sesame Seed Tahini

Learn how to make tahini with brown sesame seed tahini instead of the traditional white sesame seeds. Using only 3 ingredients.
- Brown Sesame Seeds
- Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
- Pinch of Sea Salt
In a pan toast your desired amount of brown sesame seeds until golden brown. See notes in the accompying blog post for tips on toasting sesame seeds.
Once your sesame seeds have cooled. Grind your sesame seeds and a pinch of sea salt in a coffee grinder until you have a fine powder.
Add in coconut oil to thin to your desired consistency. You might want to put the grinded sesame seeds in your small glass mason jar before adding the coconut oil in to reduce the mess.
Store in a glass container. You can also store in the fridge and take out as needed.
