Instructions
Boil water andd cinnamon stick to a few minutes. This infuses the water with a sweet cinnamon flavor.
Add in washed dried sorrel.
While sorrel is boiling. Wash and grate ginger.
Add in ginger and turn off the stove. If you have an electric stove turn off after you have added in the ginger. If you have a gas stove, bring the tea back to a boil and turn off.
Let the tea steep for about 3 - 5 minutes. This brings out the flavors.
Strain the sorrel tea into your tea cup and stir in a spoonful of unsulfured blackstrap molasses.
