4 tea recipes

These 4 tea recipes are sure to refreshing your taste buds and give you a moment of peace and calm with each cup. Not to mention the amazing health benefits – remember “food is medicine and medicine is food”.

Sorrel Tea

Sorrel contains various essential vitamins and minerals to include Iron, and Vitamin C & A. This bright red drink can lower your bad cholesterol levels and fight cancer causing cells. What better way to start your day than with a hot cup of sorrel tea.

Immunity Boosting Orange Peel Tea

Taste summer in every sip with the bright and citrusy notes of dried orange peels. This is one and done tea, the only “hard” work you have to do is wait for the water to boil. I like my orange peel tea with a spoon of honey.

Mint Melody Iced Tea

I like my tea hot in the winter and iced in the summer. The best thing about this recipe is that you drink this tea hot or iced. This mint in this iced tea is made from a melody of locally grown mint. You can find the tea bags used in this recipe here.

Tahini Coffee with Almond Milk

This might be one of my creative and delicious combinations on the blog – coffee and brown sesame seed tahini. The combination of rich coffee and earthy tahini balanced with a splash of rich almond milk tastes surprisingly good.
