If you have a food processor and 15 minutes to spare you can whip up your jar of homemade Cashew Butter. It is as simple as that to make your own homemade 2-ingredient Cashew Butter.
Cashew Butter is smooth, toasty, rich, and delicious. For me, cashew butter comes in second on my list of favorite nut butters – with peanut in first and almond in third. Let me know your favorite nut butter in the comments.

You can use cashew butter as a substitute for peanut butter or where you would use other types of nut butters.
The ingredient list for this recipe only calls for two things and two things only – toasted cashews and sea salt. That is why I am so baffled when I look at the mile-long ingredient list on commercial nut butters.
Your food processor with be doing most of the hard work here, so make sure to give it a few minutes of rest to prevent your food processor from burning out. If you are looking for a decent food processor, then try the one I use. (affiliate link)

Ingredients
- 2 cups Toasted Cashews
- ¼ tsp Sea Salt
Instructions
- Add toasted cashews and sea salt into your food processor.
- Blend for 15 minutes until smooth. (give your machine a break to prevent burn out). Remove from food processor and store in a glass airtight container in your pantry.

Congratulations!!! You just made a jar of your very own homemade Cashew Butter.
TIP: the longer you blend the cashew butter the runnier the consistency will be.
