Contains anticancer properties.
Papaya contains an important antioxidant called lycopene that may reduce the risk of cancer.

Free radicals are reactive singular or a group of atoms that has one or more unpaired electrons. These free radicals can promote oxidative stress that leads to serious health problems such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes just to name a few.
The antioxidants found in Papaya can neutralize free radicals by reducing oxidative stress.

Inflammation is the cause of many diseases. The carotenoids found in papaya can reduce inflammation.
