Finding ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle is second nature when living a 100% plant-based, sustainable, and eco-friendly lifestyle. Constantly finding ways to get the most out of your kitchen essentials is when you come up with some pretty creative ideas. I would like to share one of my ideas that reduces waste, recycles store-bought containers, and reuse glass pasta sauce jars with you.
Old pasta sauce jars make the perfect storage containers for your pantry. You can easily store and organize your pantry essentials in these glass containers with easy-to-twist-off and on covers.
The biggest plus for me is that these jars are made of glass, which makes your pantry items visible. Therefore, you can see how much of that pantry staple you have. This is great for pantry organization, I personally love “seeing” what I have and not having to search around and move around containers to see what`s inside.
In addition to being able to repurpose, reuse, and recycle, glass containers, which is reducing waste and cutting down on plastic containers. You are getting the biggest bang for your buck. For the cost of the pasta sauce, you are also getting a sturdy glass container that you can use to organize your pantry. Doubling and tripling the value of that simple glass container.
