Mint can relieve stomach pain, sore throats, nausea, and is a clinically proven digestive aid.

Mint is common ingredient in toothpaste and mouthwashes as it freshens bad breath.

Mint contains a natural oil called menthol, which accounts for the cooling and refreshing taste of mint.

Mint is useful for relieving menstrual cramps in women.

I personally love the smell of mint; it is mentally relaxing and refreshing for me. A diffuser (pictured below) is the number one way to utilize peppermint essential oil.

4 ways you can use mint:

Tea – I highly recommend trying this Mint Melody Herbal Tea Bags.

Air Fresher – You can use a diffuse mint essential oil using a diffuser to fresh the air. Homemade no-chemical air freshener. You can also boil the stems and leaves of dried mint to freshen the air.

Smeller: Put a few drops of mint essential oil on a napkin and smells to relieve congestion and nausea. “Smeller” is my little name for this way to use mint. 🙂

Rodent Deterrent – Rats are known to not like the smell of mint, especially peppermint. Place some mint around your house to repel rats.
